For four years, Adrian’s work days were consumed with one tedious, never-ending task: scheduling and routing RZR Recycling’s many recycling pickups. Adrian used to spend up to 8 hours a day, 6 days a week, fielding messages, emails and calls and then planning a fuel and time efficient route for his drivers. This was on top of, and in between, all of the other aspects of running a successful service-based business.

It seemed like as soon as he solidified a route for a driver, he would get a call with a change and have to go back to the drawing board—literally. Adrian utilized whiteboards and endless reams of paper to visualize, plan and track routes for recycling pickups.

As the business grew, so did the boards. And so did the headache.
